Your not likely to build a workable resistor box for as cheap as you can buy a used one. Later on I swapped over to an H22a, which I believe came from a 97+ because unfortunately it's open deck. This leads me to believe I have 290cc injectors instead of the nice 345cc, and that I do not require a resistor box.
