It lacks conventional security measures. It is Norway 's second-largest prison, and it was built in 2010 with a rehabilitation focus; its design simulates life outside the prison. Each prison cell is 10 square metres (110 sq ft) and has a flat-screen television, desk, mini-fridge, toilet with shower, and unbarred vertical window that lets in more light.
