WebFosfomycin has broad-spectrum activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria: Staph. aureus, Staph. epidermidis, Strep. pneumoniae and Enterococcus faecalis show in vitro susceptibility, as do E. coli, Proteus species, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter species, and Salmonella typhi.
