The FE 85mm f/1.4 GM was supposed to do the same for the 105mm f/1.4 Art: being a light weight alternative for that boat anchor. It is much lighter, yes, but the rendering isn't the same. WebOct 28, 2024 · From a shoot earlier today at Mission Espada in San Antonio, TX (A7Riv w Sony FE 100-400): Out of the camera JPEG with a bit of exposure adjustment and then resizing to get it under 20 megs . Wow, excellent sharpness edge to edge. Guess you will never regret getting the A7R4 and the Sony lens.
