I spent two years at UC Riverside and transferred to UCLA for 3 more years, and can verify that we had a TON of practical, programming heavy classes. WebHonestly, I think CS San Marcos is a very underated university (due to SDSU and UCSD being nearby). I went to SDSU, and my sister to CSUSM until covid hit. Whenever I visited my sister, I felt silly for not considering going to Cal State San Marcos. It's a beautiful smaller campus as well, perfect for someone whose a little more shy.
