It's 2 more of each portion for me and 5 more of just the dinner portion for the hubs, but it's less elegant and less "gram-able" because it's just everything by ingredient in giant ugly plastic containers because I only have 3 glass containers and 2 bento boxes due to cost. Wash every time you use and repack. WebI decided on 1L per "meal". My meals are 600-700 calories of, mostly vegetables, meat, with some oils, beans, and other more calorie dense foods. They don't quite occupy the entire container (about 75% of max freezable capacity). 1L is a good capacity for meals of similar size and calorie density.
WebGlass containers with preferably airtight lids are really good. I use the Glasslock set from Amazon. I've also invested into one of the Stasher bags. These are better than plastic bags and can be reused and limit freezer burn on food. Hopefully this helps!
